BI-AMP CONNECTION
Example of bi-amp connections using an already purchased preamplifier and two SM6100SA in combination
(Only the connections between the speakers and amplifiers are shown in the figure.)
When using an already purchased preamplifier with two sets of PRE OUTPUT jacks, the bi-amp connections can be provided as
shown in the figure below. The speaker systems will then be driven more powerfully by the two SM6100SA.
The example shows the speaker terminals that support bi-amp connections. “HF” (= high frequency) in the figure denotes the input
jacks of the tweeter; “LF” (= low frequency) denotes the input jacks of the woofer.
Be absolutely sure to remove the shorting bars in the speaker terminals. Otherwise, the amplifiers may be damaged.
