Select a mounting location with minimal deck curvature, avoiding excessive spray and pointing the trumpet downward.
Screw the tubing connector into the horn base, ensuring it fits snugly through a 7/16" deck hole.
Install the optional support bracket by clamping it around the trumpet and securing it to the deck.
Mount the compressor close to the horn on a firm surface, protected from elements but accessible for maintenance.
Mount using the provided strap or the side-bracket, securing with appropriate hardware.
Trim the air hose to length and connect it to the compressor, ensuring no kinks.
Select appropriate stranded wire gauge based on the total wire length for 12V installation.
Connect wires to the compressor and battery terminals, recommending soldered quick-connect tabs for reliability.
Verify fuse, air hose for kinks, wire integrity, and ensure 12V supply to the compressor.
Inspect and clean the horn diaphragm for contamination if sound is poor.
Lubricate compressor every 4-5 months with light machine oil, allowing oil to settle before re-attaching air hose.
