NOTE:
Never apply any oil on the precipitation sensor.
MANUAL SETTING
1. Press the MODE/SET button for 2 seconds.
The unit for temperature starts ashing.
Use the HIST/UP and DOWN buttons to
select °C or °F.
2. Press the MODE/SET button to conrm.
The unit for the amount of precipitation
starts ashing. Use the HIST/UP and
DOWN buttons to select mm or inches.
3. Press MODE/SET to conrm. The 12/24
hour indicator starts ashing. Use the
HIST/UP and DOWN buttons to select
12-hour or 24-hour displaying.
4. Press the MODE/SET button to conrm.
The hour value starts ashing. Use the
HIST/UP and DOWN buttons to set the
hour.
5. Press the MODE/SET button to conrm.
The minutes value starts ashing. Use the
HIST/UP and DOWN buttons to set the
minutes.
6. Press the MODE/SET button to conrm.
The values for month and date start
ashing. Use the HIST/UP and DOWN
buttons to select the display format
month/day or day/month.
7. Press the MODE/SET button to conrm.
The year value (2018) starts ashing.
Use the HIST/UP and DOWN buttons
to set the year.
8. Press the MODE/SET button to conrm.
The month value starts ashing. Use the
HIST/UP and DOWN buttons to set the
month.
9. Press the MODE/SET button to conrm.
The date value starts ashing. Use the
HIST/UP and DOWN buttons to set the
date.
Assembly
1. Screw the mounting screws through the
holes in the base of the precipitation
sensor. Do not overtighten.
2. Check with the spirit level that the sensor
is horizontal.
3. After xing the sensor base, place the
funnel over the sensor and check that
the catch engages in the base.
NOTE:
Do not place the sensor near other similar
sensors – risk of signal interference.
Emptying and cleaning
The sensor is emptied automatically, but it is
important not to mount it in a hollow, which
can prevent the precipitation running out
through the bottom.
NOTE:
Make sure that the sensor is accessible for
cleaning, if leaves or other debris clog the
funnel.
MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
Clean the rain gauge at regular intervals (every
three months, depending on how much it
rains).
1. Press the funnel catch and lift o the
funnel.
2. Carefully remove any debris from the
precipitation sensor.
3. Remove debris from the precipitation
funnel and its outlet.
4. Clean the outlet.
5. Replace the precipitation funnel.
