• Fill kettle to the MAX line and bring to a boil. When the unit completes the boiling cycle, discard the water - repeat the process 2 to 3 times. This will remove any dust or residue remaining from the
manufacturing process.

To turn on the kettle in boiling mode, press on the control panel with a short press, after a beep, the device will start working and automatically turn off after boiling water. Shutdown is also accompanied by
sound signals.
HEATING
To start the device in the heating mode, press and hold the button for 3 seconds. The device will heat the previously boiled water to 85°C and keep it hot for two hours.
HEAT-UP
Select one of the four temperature settings by successively pressing the buttons: 60°C, 70°C, 80°C or 90°C. The appliance will heat the water to the selected temperature and automatically stop working.
After use, unplug and empty unused water. Ensure kettle is switched off before removing from base. Heating can be stopped at any time by the operating the switch.
As a safety feature, the unit may not start immediately after shutting off. Please allow 15 to 20 seconds for kettle to cool down before switching on again.
If kettle ever boils dry, please wait 15 minutes for unit to cool before refilling with cold water. The safety cut-off will automatically reset during this time.
Do not open lid when in operation. Steam escaping from the spout is hot. This appliance is only suitable for heating water; do not use any other liquids.
A minimum of 0.75L of water must be used to prevent overheating.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
• Unplug unit before cleaning and allow unit to cool down.
• Wipe the exterior of kettle with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive scouring pads or cleaning powders as they may scratch the surface.
• Due to scale build up, it is best to de-scale your kettle weekly. It is recommended to use Citric Acid for de-scaling. If Citric Acid is not available, you can use the juice of 1 lemon. Fill kettle halfway with
Citric Acid/lemon and water mixture. Allow the unit to boil the solution two to three times. Rinse clean and wipe with a soft cloth.
