This document describes the Marta MT-FN2554 Stand Fan, a device designed for domestic use to circulate air within a room. It is not intended for industrial application.

Function Description

The fan operates by circulating air to provide cooling or ventilation. It features an oscillating function, which can be activated or deactivated by pressing a dedicated button. The fan's tilt angle can be adjusted to direct the airflow as desired. The height of the fan can also be adjusted using an internal telescopic tube. The device offers three speed settings for airflow: low, medium, and high, in addition to an off setting.

The production date is indicated on the serial number, which is found on the identification sticker of the gift box and/or the device itself. The serial number consists of 13 characters, with the 4th and 5th characters denoting the month and the 6th and 7th characters indicating the year of production. The manufacturer reserves the right to change the complete set, appearance, country of manufacture, warranty, and technical characteristics of the model without prior notice.

Usage Features

Assembly: The fan is delivered unassembled. Before connecting to the mains supply, ensure the assembly is complete.

Attach the stand (16) to the base (17), connecting them with the base weighter (18) and washer (19), and securing with the base screw (20).
Unscrew the fan height adjustment screw (15). Adjust the internal telescopic tube (14) to the desired height and secure it with the screw (15). This screw must be tightened before installing the motor unit.
Place the motor unit (6) onto the internal telescopic tube (14) and secure it with the retaining screws (8 and 10). Attach the pivot knob and tilt angle adjuster (7 and 9).
Attach the rear safety grid (4) to the motor unit (6) using 4 screws.
Install the fan blades (2) onto the motor axis (12) and secure them firmly with the blades binding screw (tighten counter-clockwise).
Connect the round metal frame (3) to the rear safety grid (4) using screws.
Attach the front safety grid (1) to the round metal frame (3) and secure it with screws.

Operation:

Oscillation: To activate the oscillation function, press the oscillation button (5) located on the motor unit. Pull the button up to stop oscillation.
Tilt Angle Adjustment: Use the pivot knob and tilt angle adjuster (7) to set the desired airflow angle.
Height Adjustment: To change the fan's height, unscrew the fan height adjustment screw (15), adjust the internal telescopic tube (14) to the desired height, and then tighten the screw.
Speed Control: The fan offers three speed settings, selected via the speed switch (11):
- 0: Off
- I: Low airflow speed
- II: Medium airflow speed
- III: High airflow speed

Safety Precautions:

Always ensure the fan is fully assembled before use and placed on a stable, dry, and even surface.
Do not use the fan in wet conditions or outdoors.
Keep the power cord away from sharp edges and hot surfaces. Do not pull, twist, or wrap the cord around the appliance. Always pull the plug, not the cord, when disconnecting from the power supply.
Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. In case of malfunction or damage, unplug the device and contact a service center.
Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. If this occurs, unplug it immediately and contact a service center.
Avoid touching rotating parts during operation. Prevent foreign objects from entering the fan's openings or grids. Do not block the motor unit's ventilation openings. Do not use the fan without its protective grids.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
