Why won't my Maruyama Chainsaw start?
- EElizabeth BrownAug 3, 2025
If your Maruyama chainsaw engine won't start, first ensure the STOP switch is in the 'on' position. Other possible causes include an empty fuel tank (refill it), a clogged fuel filter (clean or replace it), or a clogged fuel line (clean it). Also, make sure you press the primer bulb until fuel flows through it. If the engine is flooded, use the warm engine starting procedure. For electrical problems or carburetor issues, consult your Maruyama dealer.
