Function Description:
The Marvel MOCP215-SS01B is an undercounter ice machine designed to produce clear ice. It utilizes a fractional freezing process where water is run over a cold evaporator plate, gradually freezing the water into a slab of clear ice with fewer dissolved solids. Once the ice slab reaches the correct thickness, it is released and slides onto a heated grid cutter, which cuts it into square cubes. After each freezing cycle, water containing dissolved minerals is drained, and fresh water enters for the next cycle. The unit is designed to maintain ice quality and clarity, with the ice bin not being refrigerated, allowing for some melting to preserve ice quality and ensure a constant supply of fresh ice.
