Summary

Introduction and Owner Information

Owner Information Recording

Record amplifier model, dealer name, purchase date, and installation details for service.

Amplifier Functions

Speaker Connection

Connect speakers/subwoofers to terminals, ensuring proper polarity. Avoid chassis ground connection.

+12 Volt Power Connection

Connect to vehicle battery positive terminal via fuse or circuit breaker within 18 inches.

Remote Turn On

Connect to head unit or signal source remote turn-on lead for amplifier activation.

Ground Connection (GND)

Connect directly to a stripped metal frame point, using the shortest possible cable.

RCA Input Jacks

Use for source units with RCA outputs; requires minimum 200mV level. Use high-quality cables.

Remote Control

Connect remote controller for subwoofer volume adjustment from the driver's seat.

Gain Control

Matches amplifier sensitivity to source unit signal voltage (5V-200mV). Not a volume control.

Low Pass Filter Control (Mono Block)

Selects desired low pass crossover frequency from 40Hz to 220Hz.

Subsonic Filter Control (Mono Block)

Filters unwanted low frequencies from 10Hz to 50Hz, increasing woofer power handling.

Bass Boost Level Switch (Mono Block)

Boosts bass level by 0dB, 6dB, or 12dB, centered at 50Hz.

Amplifier Panel Layout Overview

Hi-Pass Filter (Full Range)

Controls frequencies for front channels, cuts low frequencies from OFF to 200Hz.

X-Over Mode and Frequency Control (Full Range)

Controls rear channel frequencies (LP, Full Range, HP). Crossover 50Hz-750Hz.

Power Indicator

LED lights up when the amplifier is functioning correctly.

Protection Indicator

Red LED flashes if a fault is present. Disconnect amplifier to resolve.

Woofer Channel Signal Selector

Selects signal source for subwoofer: External RCA (up) or 4CH input (down).

Q-Control (Available on NX3 Only)

Adjusts bass boost curve. Clockwise for narrow/sharp, counter-clockwise for wide range.
