14. While cooking in 2 or 3 tiers, it may become necessary to check
the food in the FIRST (I) (bottom) Steamer Basket. Using oven
mitts, carefully remove the stacked THIRD (III) and the SECOND (II)
Baskets with Lid and place onto a large heat-resistant tray,
protective mat or place onto a kitchen towel spread out over the
countertop.
Check food in the FIRST (I) Steamer Basket. If it still requires more
steaming time, replace the Steamer Baskets on top of the FIRST
(I) Steamer Basket. Make sure the Baskets are securely sitting in
position on top of each other and also on top the Steamer Base.
Check that the Lid is properly in position.
15. To adjust the cooking time, press the SET Button. The word
“STEAMER” will begin blinking in the display panel and the ON/OFF
Button will remain red. Adjust the cooking time using the HOUR
and MINUTE buttons. After 5 seconds (do not press any buttons),
the word “STEAMER” will stop blinking and the timer on the
Control Panel will count down until it reaches 00:00.
16. When cooking is complete, 00:00 will appear in the display, the
Digital Steamer will beep 5 times and the ON/OFF Button will turn
green. The Digital Steamer will automatically go into the Keep
Warm Mode for up to one hour and the timer will begin to count up
to one hour. After one hour, the Digital Steamer will beep 3 times
and power off.
17. Unplug and allow to cool before cleaning.
Place an outstretched kitchen towel, large heat-resistant
tray, or protective mat onto the counter next to the Digital Steamer.
