If your Master Water Pump won’t start or run, begin by ensuring the pump is properly plugged into a functioning outlet. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a fuse of the correct size. If the line voltage is lower than the recommended minimum, inspect the wiring size from the main switch on your property. If the wiring is adequate, contact your power company or hydro authority. If the motor is defective, replace the pump. For a defective float switch, replace it. If the impeller won’t turn, take off the lower pump body to find what is causing it to bind. If the float is obstructed, remove the obstruction.
