Problem Possible causes Solutions
The trimmer doesn’t
work.
The battery is depleted. Charge the battery pack.
The battery pack is overloaded. Decrease the load on the trimmer.
The battery pack is too hot. Cool the battery pack and then restart
the tool again.
Trimmer head will not
advance line.
The motor shaft or trimmer head is
bound with grass.
Stop the trimmer, remove the battery,
and clean the motor shaft and trimmer
head.
Cutting line is not wound well. The line
is tangled.
Manually feed the line rst. If the line
still cannot feed out, rewind the line.
There is not enough line on the spool. Replace the cutting line. Follow the
section “WIND THE SPOOL WITH NEW
LINE” in this manual.
Excessive vibrations/
noise.
Line spool is not wound well. Rewind the line.
