How to fix a Mastergrip Paint Sprayer that is improperly adjusted, has a dirty air cap, obstructed fluid tip, or sluggish needle?
    • B
      brittanyhubbardAug 15, 2025

What to do if my Mastergrip Paint Sprayer has no air pressure, low fluid pressure, or other fluid feed issues?
    • S
      Sergio WhiteAug 18, 2025
If your Mastergrip Paint Sprayer has no air pressure, check the air supply and air lines. If you are using an internal mix cap and pressure tank, increase the fluid pressure at the tank. Ensure the fluid control screw is sufficiently open. If the fluid is too heavy for suction feed, either thin the material or switch to a pressure feed system.

How to adjust atomization pressure for thin materials with my Mastergrip 690042 Paint Sprayer?
    • R
      robert07Aug 26, 2025
If the atomization air pressure is too high on your Mastergrip Paint Sprayer and you're trying to spray a thin material in too wide a pattern, reduce the air pressure. Increase material control by turning the fluid control screw to the left, while reducing the spray width by turning the spray width adjustment screw to the right.

Why is the packing around the needle valve dried out, or the fluid nozzle loose on my Mastergrip 690042 Paint Sprayer?
    • P
      Pamela WellsAug 31, 2025
If the packing around the needle valve of your Mastergrip Paint Sprayer is dried out, back up the knurled nut and put a few drops of machine oil on the packing, then retighten the nut. If the fluid nozzle is loosely installed or there's dirt between the nozzle and body, take off the fluid nozzle, clean the rear of the nozzle and its seat in the gun body, then replace the nozzle tightly. If the needle sealing is damaged, replace the sealing.
