Why does my MASTERPAC PFG10 Saw blade slow or stop cutting?

If the MASTERPAC Saw blade slows or stops while still remaining on, it could be due to several reasons. First, the blade might be too hard for the material; in this case, consult your dealer for the correct blade or try cutting very soft material like sandstone to "redress" the blade. Another cause could be diminished engine torque due to a loose V-belt; tighten or replace the V-belt. Insufficient engine power could also be the issue, so check the throttle setting and engine horsepower. Also, ensure the blade is properly oriented with the rotational arrow pointing in a "down-cutting" direction. Finally, check that the blade and flange pin are correctly installed on the blade shaft, as the blade might be slipping.
