Overview

The Matrix Magnum Series MG-936 is a robust strength training machine designed for rear delt and fly exercises, offering a comprehensive workout experience. This equipment is built for stability and durability, ensuring a safe and effective training environment for users.

Function Description:

The MG-936 is primarily designed to target the rear deltoids and pectoral muscles through fly movements. It allows users to perform exercises that strengthen the shoulders and chest, contributing to overall upper body development. The machine incorporates a weight stack system, providing adjustable resistance to accommodate various fitness levels and training goals. Users can select their desired weight by inserting a pin into the weight stack, allowing for progressive overload and tailored workouts. The design ensures a controlled range of motion, which helps in isolating the target muscles and reducing the risk of injury. The smooth operation of the pulleys and guide rods facilitates fluid movements, enhancing the user's exercise experience.

Usage Features:

Proper usage of the MG-936 is crucial for safety and effectiveness. Users should always adhere to the recommended weight limits and ensure that all adjustable mechanisms are correctly engaged before starting an exercise. This includes adjusting seat pads, leg pads, foot pads, or range of motion limiters to a comfortable and appropriate start position. The adjusting pin must be fully engaged in the hole to prevent unintentional movement and potential injury. When performing exercises, users should sit on the bench (if applicable) and get into the correct position. Exercises should be performed in a controlled manner, using a weight that can be safely lifted and controlled, without exceeding the machine's weight capacity. After completing an exercise, the weight should be returned to its fully-supported start position. It is important to avoid attaching resistance straps, ropes, or other means to the equipment, as this can lead to serious injury. The machine should also not be used for support during stretching. Teenagers must be supervised at all times while using the equipment, and children should never be allowed on strength training equipment. Users should obtain a medical exam before beginning any exercise program and cease exercise if they feel faint or dizzy.

Maintenance Features:

Regular maintenance is essential to ensure the longevity, smooth operation, and safety of the Matrix Magnum Series MG-936. A comprehensive maintenance checklist is provided to guide users and maintenance personnel. Daily tasks include cleaning the upholstery and inspecting the cables. The upholstery and grips should be cleaned with a mild soap and water or a non-ammonia based cleaner. Monthly maintenance involves cleaning the guide rods and inspecting the hardware. Guide rods should be lubricated with a Teflon-based lubricant; this is done by applying the lubricant to a cotton cloth and then wiping it up and down the guide rods. Bi-annual tasks include inspecting the frame. The machine, grips, and guide rods should be cleaned as needed. It is crucial to use only replacement parts supplied by the local Matrix dealer if any parts are damaged or worn. Labels and nameplates should be maintained and not removed, as they contain important information. If any label is unreadable or missing, a replacement should be obtained from the Matrix dealer. All equipment needs to be inspected at regular intervals, and preventative maintenance is key to smooth operation and minimizing liability. Any person performing adjustments or maintenance must be qualified to do so. The manufacturer recommends securing all stationary Matrix strength equipment to the floor to stabilize it and eliminate rocking or tipping over, which must be performed by a licensed contractor. All anchor points must be able to withstand 750 lbs. (3.3 kN) pull-out force. Keeping the body, hair, clothing, and fitness accessories free and clear of all moving parts is also a critical safety measure.
