Button/Keypad Test
To test frame button function & what the console is interpreting those buttons as, complete a
Button/Keypad test.
1. Access the Product Dashboard by touching and holding on the Matrix logo, top center of display.
2. Press the “Machine Settings” button.
3. Type “3 0 0 1 enter” on the keypad that appears to access Machine Settings menu.
4. Touch on the “Calibration” tab.
5. Touch on “Key Test” from the menu that drops down.
Each button should register with its function when pressed and released.
To exit the Button/Keypad Test, touch Home in the upper left of the display.
Display Test
Note: this menu may not be available, or exist in a different location, on all software versions.
If the display is suspected faulty, missing pixels or areas bright/dim/off color, a Display Test can be
performed to check display function uniformly.
1. Touch and hold on the Matrix logo, top center of the display to access the Product Dashboard.
2. Press the “Machine Settings” button.
3. Type “2 6 3 7 6 4 3 enter” on the keypad that appears to access the Android home screen.
4. Touch on the app “Screen Test”. Swipe up or to the side as needed to locate the icon.
5. Ignore any errors or warnings that may appear about app version; touch OK to acknowledge.
Touching the panel will display a series of single color, maximum brightness screens followed by test
patterns; a passing test has no missing pixels, bright/dim areas, off colors, blurriness, etc.
To exit the Display Test, cycle power to the console.
Fan Test
Fan speed can be set directly, outside of a workout, to test proper fan function.
1. Access the Product Dashboard by touching and holding on the Matrix logo, top center of display.
2. Press the “Machine Settings” button.
