Installation
Positioning
Locate the freezer away from sources of heat such as stoves,
radiators, etc and do not locate it in direct sunlight or where the
temperature rises due to the effects of the sun.
Place the freezer horizontally on affirm surface. Use wooden
block or similar object to compensate for an uneven surface.
Ensure that there is sufficient space between the freezer and
the wall for correct air circulation and opening the lid, and a
minimum clearance of 25mm (one inch) at each side.
The freezer should not be positioned where it will be affected
by draughts or dampness.
Whilst the freezer can be used in an outbuilding or garage, this
may affect its performance.
Before use
Remove all packaging from the outside and inside of the
appliance. Wash the interior of the freezer using a solution of one
teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda to each pint of warm water and
dry very thoroughly with a clean dry cloth. Detergents or soap
should not be used as they leave a trace of odour. Abrasive
cleaning powders must not be used in any interior, as they may
affect the finish.
The freezer must be allowed to stand with the lid open for a
period of at least 12 hours after delivery before it is switched on.
This allows the refrigerant to settle after the disturbance in
transit.
Manufacturer's recommended storage times should be adhered to.
Refer to relevant instructions.
