Can I use a power cord or extension cord with the Maven 140IS?
- It is not recommended to use with an extension cord or power bar/surge protector. If an extension
cord/surge protector is absolutely necessary, a cord with an ampere rating equal to or greater
than the maximum rating of the iron must be used. A cord rated for less amperage can result in a
risk of fire or electric shock due to overheating and will void your warranty. Care should be taken
to arrange the cord so that it cannot be pulled or tripped over.
How long can I use my Maven 140IS iron?
- The Maven is a domestic iron and should not be used in commercial settings. We recommend only using
your iron 4 to 6 hours a week to maximize the life of the iron station. Using for longer periods of time will
shorten the life of your iron station.
My Maven 140IS is brand new, why is there water in the tank? Is it used?
- All Reliable irons are 100% tested during production. While we do our best to remove all the
water from the tank it is possible some residual water may remain inside the main unit and show
in the tank. We only sell 100% new products unless otherwise advertised.
