5.5 Charging the Battery
1. Plug the charger into a power outlet.
2. Plug the other end of the charger into a jack at the bottom of the
phone. If the charger is properly plugged in, battery indicator bars
will blink on the LCD.
As soon as the battery is fully charged and battery indicator bars
stop blinking, unplug the battery. There will be a message on the
LCD reading: Charging complete.
If the battery is almost discharged, the indicator will turn into red,
the phone will emit a warning beep (if it is enabled in
Settings->Profiles->Options->Settings->Other Notification
Alerts->Low Battery). Once the battery is totally discharged, the
phone will automatically switch off. Do not leave the battery
discharged for a long time as doing so might negatively impact the
quality of battery and its life. To make sure your phone works
properly, use only the charger recommended by the Manufacturer.
While charging, do not remove the back cover. While charging the
battery, do not remove the back cover. While charging, keep the
phone in a well ventilated area with the temperature between 0°C
~ 45°C. If the battery is totally discharged, it might take up to
several minutes before battery indicator bars will appear, and the
phone will be ready to use.
