13.8 Phone Settings
13.8.1 Display & Keypad
This Option allows you to set for how long the
keypad stays illuminated; you can also set the auto
keypad lock, and the display screen contrast. The
wallpaper and motiff on the phone can not be
changed!
13.8.2 Security
PIN1 – you can enable/disable/update the
PIN for SIM card. It should be
remembered that not every service
provider gives you the opportunity to
update the PIN on the phone; what might
be sometimes required is entering
special codes or calling the customer
service.
Locking the phone – there might be a short
code you will be required to enter every time
you switch on the phone. Remember this
code or save it in a safe place as losing
the code will make switching on the
phone impossible! A default code is
1234.
Blacklist – any number can be added to a
blacklist so all incoming phone calls and/or
text messages from this number will be
rejected.
