Step 1: Location
Identify the best location allowing for maximum sun
exposure. Location should be well ventilated. Keep
away from hazards such as campres, ammables,
high trac areas, etc. The cable from the solar panel
to the battery should not cross walkways, vehicle
roads or access ways or be permanently immersed
in water.
Step 2: Set-Up
1. Remove the cover from the solar panel.
2. Open the folding panels and fold out the
support legs.
3. Adjust the legs to provide the desired angle
and the direction that allow maximum sun
exposure.
Step 3: Connect Panels to Battery
The panel has the controller mounted on the back
and is already connected.
The controller has a 5m cable with an Anderson
Plug at the end.
You may connect the Anderson Plug directly into
your input circuit (if you have the appropriate
Anderson Plug input), or if not, can attach the
supplied Anderson Plug to Alligator Clip adaptor in
order to connect to your battery. When connecting
the Alligator Clips to the battery be sure to connect
the correct polarity (The positive red clamp to the
positive battery pole, the negative black clamp to
the negative battery pole). e.
• Connecting the clamps in reverse polarity may cause irreparable damage to the controller and/or panel.
• Anderson Plugs do not have a male / female connector. A pair of plugs clip together by rotating one upside down.
