COMPONENT TESTING
COMPONENT RESISTANCE VALUES
Before testing any of the components, perform
the following checks:
n Control failure can be the result of corrosion
of connectors. Therefore, disconnecting
and reconnecting wires will be necessary
throughout test procedures.
n All tests/checks should be made with a
VOM or DVM having a sensitivity of 20,000
ohms-per-volt DC, or greater.
n Check all connections before replacing
components, looking for broken or loose
wires, failed terminals, or wires not pressed
into connectors far enough.
n Resistance checks must be made with
power cord unplugged from the outlet,
and with wiring harness or connectors
disconnected.
n Unless stated otherwise, make all
resistance checks by disconnecting the
component connector at the Appliance
Control Unit (ACU).
Fill Valve Coil 75KΩ
Drain Valve Motor 120Ω
Contactor Coil 525Ω
Temperature Sensor 10KΩ at 77°F (25°C)

Voltage Measurement Safety Information
When measuring live voltage, you must complete the following steps:
1. Disconnect power.
2. Connect voltage measurement equipment to the proper connectors.
3. Reconnect power and verify voltage.
4. Disconnect power before servicing.
