NAVIGATION (SELECTED MODELS ONLY)
Whether you’re taking a family holiday or travelling for business,
your vehicle’s navigation system will help you arrive easily at any destination.
Settings
Using navigation is simple and convenient when you take the time
to configure the system to your preferences. Some of the Mazda
Connect features that can be personalised are listed below.
Map settings:
Change colour themes for both day and night use; selecting which
places should appear on map; choice of 3D perspective or top-down
view; and showing or suppressing 3D city models, 3D artistic or
block representation of full city building data.
Guidance settings:
Adjust how the software uses various route-related information on
the map screen.
Warning settings:
Activate specific warnings and alerts; adjust volume; set up warnings
related to speed limit and monitoring current speed; set notifications
of road safety cameras and other proximity alert points.
Trac settings:
Enable or disable use of trac or detour information.
Route settings:
Change route type; options include FAST, SHORT,
ECONOMICAL and EASY.
Getting started
To ensure correct operation of the Voice Recognition functions
within Navigation please follow these instructions:

Select ‘SETTINGS’ from Home Screen.

Select the ‘SYSTEM’ tab.

Select ‘LANGUAGE’ from System menu.

Select your chosen language.
Find help
Use the preset search features to find the emergency services you
need in any location. These locations can also be saved
to your Favourites.
Destinations
It’s easy to find the right destination when you have a variety
of convenient options. Choose a place of interest, a location on the
map, one of your Favourites, a destination from your history, or enter
an address or co-ordinates.
Update my maps
Two free map updates per year for three years are provided (from
purchase date) to ensure you always have the most up-to-date and
accurate maps.
