Music, news, sports, podcasts or talk radio –
its all right here, easily accessible for your listening pleasure and convenience.
Bluetooth® Audio means you can access audio content on your
smartphone or portable audio player in your vehicle via Bluetooth.®
Radio (DAB+)
Selected Mazda models feature DAB+ Digital Radio technology,
providing you with more stations, clearer reception and improved
sound quality. Add your preferred DAB+, AM or FM radio stations
to your Favourites list for easy access via the multi-function
commander. Radio Data Systems (RDS) program information
such as station name, track name and artist is available if the
radio station transmits it.
USB mode
Listen to your iPod or other compatible audio players through your
cars speakers by connecting via USB.
Playable data includes: MP3/WMA/AAC/OGG/FLAC files.
Compatibility will vary according to your device.
Bose® audio
Selected Mazda models feature a premium Bose® audio sound
system to enhance audio sensation in your car. Bose® Centerpoint®
converts stereo signals to multiple channels to give a surround
sound eect. Bose® AudioPilot® monitors noise levels in the cabin,
adjusting specific frequencies to compensate for background noise
and vehicle speed.
Apple CarPlay
®
and Android
®
Auto
With Apple CarPlay® and Android® Auto you can use
your phone to make calls, send and receive messages, listen to
music, and access maps all through your Mazda Connect screen.
First, insert a USB compatible connector cable to your smartphone,
then plug into one of the USB terminals.
Switch connection from Bluetooth to the USB terminal. Then choose
one of the following methods to display Apple CarPlay® / Android®
Auto on your centre screen.
Select the Apple CarPlay® and Android® Auto icon on the home
screen by sliding the commander dial to the right and then push
down to make your selection.
Press and hold the home button shortcut for 3 seconds to switch
to Apple Carplay® / Android® Auto.
Select Apple CarPlay® / Android® Auto from applications main
menu via the home screen.
To end Apple CarPlay® / Android® Auto, disconnect cable from the
USB terminal and then from your device.
