Turn-Across Trac
The Turn-Across
Trac
function is
designed to reduce damage in the
event of a collision with a vehicle
approaching in the opposite direction
making a right turn at an intersection
(right-hand drive) or making a left turn
at an intersection (left-hand drive).
The Turn-Across
Trac
function detects
a vehicle approaching in the opposite
direction using the front radar sensor
and the Forward Sensing Camera
(FSC). And, if there is a possibility of
your vehicle colliding with a vehicle
approaching in the opposite direction
when you make a right turn at an
intersection (right-hand drive) or you
make a left turn at an intersection
(left-hand drive), you are
notified
of
possible danger by a warning sound
and warning indication on the display.
Furthermore, if the possibility of a
collision increases, brake control is
performed to reduce damage in the
event of a collision.
