Disassembly and modification of
vehicle parts
Do not disassemble or modify the
following parts:
¾Air bags
¾Seat belts
¾Steering wheel
¾Sensors
¾Cameras
¾Headlight units
¾Suspension
¾Front seats
¾Front pillars, side pillars, rear pillars,
and edges
If parts are disassembled or modified,
vehicle systems may not operate
normally which could result in serious
injury or death. If part replacement or
repair is required, consult an Mazda
Repairer.
Do not apply stickers or install
accessories other than genuine parts
to the following parts:
¾Air bags
¾Around the instrument panel
¾Sensors
¾Cameras
¾Window glass
¾Mirrors
If stickers are applied or accessories
other than genuine parts are installed
to these parts, vehicle systems may not
operate normally or the installed parts
could be knocked o, which could
result in a serious accident. Consult an
Mazda Repairer for installation of
accessory parts.
Do not remove or move the number
plates:
License plates are required by law to
be installed to the proper positions.
Do not install non-genuine parts:
If non-genuine wheels and wheel nuts
are installed, the vehicle performance
might be
aected,
in addition, the nuts
may loosen and the wheels may come
o while driving the vehicle, leading to
an accident. Moreover, they may
damage the drivetrain parts or
constitute an illegal
modification.
Do not attempt to diagnose the air
bag and pretensioner system circuits
using an electrical tester or similar
device:
Otherwise, they may not function
normally or they may operate
incorrectly, which could result in
serious injury or death.
