Do not connect any devices other
than the specially designed
malfunction diagnosis devices for
servicing:
The malfunction diagnosis connector is
designed exclusively for connecting the
specially designed device to perform
on-board diagnosis of vehicle
malfunctions. If any device other than
the malfunction diagnosis device is
connected, it may aect the vehicle's
electrical devices or lead to damage
such as battery depletion.
1. Malfunction diagnosis connector
When carrying a child
Seat a child on the rear seat whenever
possible and make sure that the seat
belt is fastened:
For a child who cannot wear the seat
belt correctly because the shoulder
belt contacts the neck or face or the
lap belt does not fit securely around
the pelvis, use a child-restraint system
appropriate to the child’s age and body
size. Do not allow a child to stand in
front of an air bag or sit on the seat
incorrectly. Otherwise, the child may
receive a strong impact from a
deploying air bag which could result in
serious injury or death.
In addition, placing a child on a
passenger's lap is dangerous. The child
cannot be supported during sudden
braking or a collision and could be
thrown out or crushed, resulting in
serious injury or death.
