Suction superheat is calculated for each circuit using the
following equation:
Suction Superheat = Suction Temperature –
Evaporator Saturated Temperature
VDC
Volts, Direct Current; sometimes noted as vdc.
VFD
Variable Frequency Drive, a device located on the compressor
used to vary the compressor speed.
