1. Introduction
This document describes the “GC315-REMOTE” controller (hereinafter Remote). It works as a remote
operator panel for another "GC315
Plus
" or "GC315
Link
" controller (hereinafter GC315). Attention:
GC315 in the “basic” version cannot be connected to Remote because it does not have any of the
required communication ports.
This document indicates:
• How the Remote controller must be wired and configured.
• How the GC315 controller (to which it is connected) must be configured.
• What information is visible on the Remote controller and what commands are available.
Remote can only be connected to GC315 having a firmware version greater than or equal to 01.59.
The first version of the Remote firmware is in fact 01.59. Also, the Remote firmware version cannot
be greater than the GC315 one; it can be smaller, but it is recommended that the two controllers have
the same version.
The Remote controller firmware has the code: EB025035301xx.
