  If your MEDAP Medical Equipment aspirator doesn't start and the operating status display is not illuminated, consider these possibilities: * The aspirator might be in standby mode. Try switching off standby mode using the foot switch. Operating the foot switch again will return the aspirator to standby mode. * The equipment or mains plug may not be properly seated in the socket. Check to ensure both are making proper contact. * There may be none or improper voltage. Verify the building fuse and check the specifications on the type plate. * The mains fuse could be defective. If so, replace the mains fuse.
