Quick User Guide
1. To change the battery, hold the
device between two ngers. First open
one side of the battery case, then open
the other side.
1. First, remove the battery (see abo-
ve). Then place the Samba on an even
surface such as a table and put one
nger on top. First, lift one side of the
cover then lift the other side.
2. Open the battery case until the battery is
completely visible. Carefully turn the Samba
upside-down, allowing the battery to drop out.
2. Remove the cover completely from the audio
processor. Place the new cover on the Samba by
positioning the rear side of the cover on the au-
dio processor rst. Press the cover down: rstly
on the rear side, then on the front side. Make
sure that it snaps into place.
3. Take a new battery and remove the sticky
tab from the top. Place the battery in the
audio processors battery case. To activate
the Samba, slide the battery case into the
audio processor with two ngers.
3. Press the sides together to ensure that
the cover is securely in position. Insert the
battery and close the battery case with two
ngers.

Changing the Battery

Hold and Open Battery Case

Hold the device between fingers, open one side of the battery case, then the other.

Remove Old Battery

Open case fully, turn device upside down to allow the battery to drop out.

Insert New Battery

Insert new battery, activate Samba by sliding the case into the processor with two fingers.

Changing the Cover

Prepare for Cover Removal

Remove battery, place Samba on a surface, lift one side of the cover then the other.

Remove and Replace Cover

Remove old cover, position new cover rear side first, press down to snap into place.

Secure Cover and Reinsert Battery

Press sides to ensure cover is secure, insert battery, and close battery case.

Using the Hairclip

Prepare for Hairclip Attachment

Remove the battery and the cover completely from the audio processor.

Attach Hairclip Thread

Feed attachment thread through notch under battery case and press down to fixate.

Reassemble Device

Place cover on Samba, insert battery, and close the battery case.

Using the Remote Control

Control Buttons (Home & Mute)

Reset processor with home button; mute audio signals with mute button.

Change Hearing Programs

Press program change button to switch programs, indicated by beeps.

Adjust Volume

Use volume up/down buttons to adjust volume by one step, indicated by a beep.

General Menu Navigation

Enter menu by pressing both volume buttons; navigate using volume up/down buttons.
