If you have a xed ankle, or nd plantar exing dicult – use it this way:
Stand the medi Butler/Valet on a rm surface with the semi-
circular opening facing forwards. Lay the compression stocking
in the srrup with the toe of the stocking facing forwards.
Turn the upper boarder of the stocking inside out and over
the frame. Slide the stocking down over the srrup unl the
heel appears at the edge of the srrup. Rubber gloves can help
and can also be useful if the user has arthric or s ngers.
Place the medi Butler/Valet behind you on the oor and
step into it whilst holding onto a rm surface for balance. There
is no need to point your toes downwards in this posion.
Using the handles, you can now pull the stocking up towards
your knee.
When the stocking is just below your knee, remove the
Butler/Valet by lng it back slightly from the stocking. You can
now adjust the top band of your stocking comfortably into
place.
