The wheel lock acts directly on the tyre through the pressure of a brake
gripper. Its performance is directly dependent on the air pressure of the
tyres. We therefore recommend you to submit the air pressure of the tyres
to regular checks (see "Safety: Pneumatic air pressure").
CAUTION: Braking while moving can cause the user to tip forward.

Brakes
Standard brakes
Suitable only for 0°/3°/6°/9° rear wheel camber
Actioning the brakes: push the brake handle down until
it is blocked against the tire.
Releasing the brakes: pull the brake handle back into
vertical position.
Performance brakes
Suitable only for 0°/3°/6° rear wheel camber
Actioning the brakes: push the brake handle down to
swing the brake gripper against
the backwheel.
Releasing the brakes: pull the brake handle back into
vertical position: the brake gripper
swings away from the wheel.
Activ brakes
Suitable for all camber positions
Actioning the brakes: pull the brake handle to the front
until the stop, reaching either
between or beside your legs.
Releasing the brakes: push the brake handle back
under the seat cover.

Stoplock brakes
Actioning the brakes: Lift the red handle positioned
on the rear wheel hub and swing
it to 180° so that it is placed
against the hub again.
Releasing the brakes: Swing the handle back into
closed position.
