switch. Power tools that cannot be
controlled with the power switch are

tool away. These safety precautions reduce
the risk of accidently starting the tool.
Store power tools out of the reach of

USING AND LOOKING AFTER
BATTERYPOWERED TOOLS
The battery must only be charged with the
charger recommended by the
manufacturer. A charger intended for one
type of battery can result in a re risk if
used with another type of battery.
Only use power tools with the specied
batteries. The use of other batteries can
cause accidents or a re.
When the battery is not being used it
must be kept away from other metal
objects such as paper clips, coins, keys,
nails, screws and other metal objects that
can short circuit the terminals. Short
circuiting the battery terminals can cause
burns or a re.
Failure to handle the battery carefully can
cause uid to leak from the battery. Avoid
contact with battery uid. Rinse well with
plenty of water if you come into contact
with battery uid. Seek medical attention
if you get battery uid in your eyes. Fluid
leaking from the battery can cause
irritation or burns.

qualied personnel using identical spare parts.
This will ensure that the power tool remains
