2. Control unit number, fault code sequence, total number
of detected fault codes and type of fault code, general of
manufacturer specic, are shown in the top right corner of
the display.

Erase fault codes
NOTE:
The engine and ignition must be switched o when doing this
step. Do not start the engine. Read and note the fault codes
before doing this step. Switch on the ignition again when the
fault codes are erased and check if any fault code is generated
again. If so, troubleshoot and correct. Erase the fault codes
afterwards.
1. Use the up and down arrows to select Erase Codes in the
diagnostic menu.

2. The following warning message with request for
conrmation is shown:
“Emission related diagnostic information will be erased/
reset. Are you sure?”
Press OK to conrm and continue.
