• Keep the handles clean, dry and free from
oil and grease.
• Always unplug the product when it is not
in use, before service and maintenance,
and before changing tools.
• Avoid accidental starting. Check that the
power switch is in the OFF position before
plugging the plug into a power point.
• Always use the correct type of extension
cord.
• If the product is used outdoors, only use
an extension cord approved for outdoor
use.
• Stay alert at all times. Use your common
sense. Never use the product if you are
tired or under the inuence of drugs,
alcohol or medication.
• Check that the product is undamaged.
• Check before using the product that it is
working normally as described in these
instructions.
• Check that all moving parts are
undamaged, correctly tted and that they
do not jam.
• Damaged safety devices must be replaced
by an authorised service centre, unless
otherwise specied in the instructions.

area and do not allow anyone, especially
children, to touch the product or the
power cord.
• When not in use, store the product in a
dry place, locked up and out of the reach
of children.
• Do not overload the product. The work
will be safer and better if the product is
not overloaded.
• Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear
loose-tting clothing or jewellery.
They can get caught in moving parts.
• Wear non-slip shoes when working
outside.
• Wear a hair net if you have long hair.
• Use personal safety equipment.
• Wear safety glasses.
• Wear a breathing mask or dust lter mask
if the work produces a lot of dust.
• Protect the power cord from damage,
and replace a damaged cord immediately.
• Do not pull the power cord to unplug the
plug from the power point. Keep the
power cord away from heat, oil and sharp
edges.
