INSTALLATION
The device must be installed outdoors. Set up the pump on a firm surface and in such a way that the
exhaust fumes cannot cause harm. The pump must not be used for contaminated or swampy water.
USE
Adjust for pumping as follows:
1. Set up the pump on a firm surface.
2. Connect the suction hose to the pump. The suction hose must be fitted with a bottom valve.
3. Connect the discharge hose to the pump outlet.
4. Open the water filler cap and fill the suction hose and pump housing with water. Otherwise the
pump cannot start to draw.
5. Fill with petrol via the tank cap (7).
6. Check the oil level in the engine via the plug (4). The oil should reach the bottom of the thread. Top
up if necessary.
7. Open the fuel cock (9).
8. Set the choke (11) to “Choke”.
9. Set the throttle to Start.
10. Pull the starter handle a few times sharply. Do not pull out the starter cord to its stop. This places
unnecessary strain on the starter cord.
11. When the engine starts, set the choke to Normal and the throttle to full throttle.
To stop the engine:
1. Turn off the fuel cock (9).
2. Let the engine run until the fuel in the carburettor has been used up and the engine stops.
3. Disconnect all equipment.
4. Drain all water from the pump housing.
