– If the electrolyte gets into the eyes: rinse with water for at least 15 minutes and contact a doctor.
• The electrolyte is poisonous. If swallowed: drink lots of water or milk followed by a magnesium
hydroxide mixture or vegetable oil and contact a doctor.
• Store out of reach of children.
DC circuit protection
With overload in the DC circuit the DC circuit protection trips (A). If this occurs, wait a few minutes and then
press the circuit protector to resume operation.
Alarm system for low oil level
The alarm system for low oil level is intended to prevent damage which is caused when there is too little oil
in the crankcase. Before the oil level in the crankcase sinks below the safe level, the engine is automatically
switched o by the alarm system for low oil levels (the engine switch remains in the ON position). The low
oil level indicator lamp (12) lights up.
Active throttle
When the switch is in the ON position, the engine automatically runs on idle when the electrical load is
disconnected and returns to the appropriate rpm for the electrical load output when it is reconnected. This
setting is recommended in order to minimise fuel consumption during operation. When the active throttle
system is o, the engine rpm varies depending on the load. The ON position is recommended to minimise
fuel consumption and reduce noise levels when there is no load on the generator.
NB
• The active throttle system does not work eectively if the electrical device requires a quick switch
between dierent power outputs.
• When high electrical loads are connected simultaneously the active throttle (13) switch must be set to
the OFF position to reduce voltage variation and avoid shutdowns.
• In DC mode the switch for active throttle should be set to the OFF position.
