Chimneys should be as straight as possible. Horizontal runs should be avoided except
where the rear outlet of the appliance is used, in which case, the horizontal section
should not exceed 150mm (6 inches) in length.
Refer to the typical installation diagrams, Fig 7-9. Flue connections must be well sealed.
A non-combustible register plate minimum 1.5mm thick
should be fitted to all installations between the flue and
the building structure.
