2. Before rst use
•Ensurethatthepowersupplyinyourhomecorres-
ponds to that on the model plate on the base of the
appliance.
•Connecttheappliancetoapowersource.Unused
cable can be stored in the base of the appliance. 
•Allapplianceshavebeentestedduringproduction
to ensure they work perfectly. Therefore there may
be for example water deposits remaining. Rinse the
appliance twice with the maximum amount of water
and without a filter bag or ground coee, in order to
clean it.
3. Making coffee
For aromatic coee flavour and the best fit for your
filter bag in the filter holder, we recommend using
Melitta
®
filter bags type 100.
•Ensurethattheapplianceisconnectedtoapower
source.
•Opentheone-pieceappliancelidandusingtheglass
pot fill the water tank with the desired amount of
cold water. Using the water level indicators on the
tank you can measure out water for the desired
numberofcups.Onelevelmarkeronthetankis
equivalent to one large cup of coee approx. 125 ml.
The tank has a maximum capacity of 2.5 cups. Close
the lid again after filling. 
•Putthelterholderontheemptyglasspot.
•FoldaMelitta
®

seam and put it in the filter holder. Press the filter
bag into the filter holder by hand to ensure the
