To resolve this, clean the Printhead using one of the Cleaning Levels in the Driver or Toolbox. Additionally, manually wipe the Printhead with distilled water and a clean, lint-free cloth.

Then manually clear the job from the computer’s print queue. Then send a new print job. Check to be sure the “Clamshell” is securely latched, then press the “Clear Error” button to continue. If the problem persists, contact service support.

  If your Memjet Printer's system will not reprime ink after replacing the Printhead Cartridge, it could be due to dry Printhead nozzles or Ink Tanks that are 1/3 full or less. Manually wipe the Printhead with distilled water and a clean, lint-free cloth. Consider replacing the Ink Tanks as well.
