7.2.3. Service mode

The electronics of the COMPACT Dynamic amalgam separator allows the device functions to be checked in a service mode.
Attention:
In order to return to normal operation or service mode after switching off the unit, it is essential to wait 5 seconds before switching it
on again!
Activating the service mode
1 PressandholdtheRESETkeyduringpower-up(approx.5seconds).LED1(readyforoperation)ashes(2.5Hz).
2 ReleasetheRESETkey,LED1continuestoash.
3 Press the RESET key again to start the motor.
4 Press the RESET button again to stop the motor and control the valve.
5 Press the RESET button again to stop the valve.
6 By pressing the REST button again, steps 3 to 5 are repeated as often as required.
7 The service mode is terminated by switching off the supply voltage.
7.2.4. 1-year service kit

According to the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik (German Institute for Construction Technology), the display units of amalgam
separators must be checked for function at least once a year by an expert!
METASYS makes it mandatory to carry out the 1-year inspection.
The 1-year inspection must be entered in the device document!
In the course of the 1-year inspection, we recommend the prophylactic replacement of the following parts by an authorized technician:
collectioncontainer,sealset,separationrotor,pumplter.
