Clean the instrument with a soft, possibly damp, lint-
free cloth. There must be absolutely no moisture in the
housing. Do not use sprays, solvents, abrasives or other
aggressive cleaning agents. Only use clean water to mois-
ten the cloth.

SET MATERIAL SELECTION
• In Hold-mode, press 3 times the SET button (3), the
display shows the “MAT” -symbol
• Press “UP” of “DOWN” button to select one of the 9
kind of materials (zie types of materials on page 11)

• If no measurement is taken for 30 seconds, the
instrument will automatically switch o.
ENABLE ALARM FUNCTION (ONLY MAT. 1)
• In Hold-mode, press the SET button (3), the display
shows the “Risk” -symbol
• With the UP (2) or DOWN (4) button you can set the
lowest value for the material to be measured.
• Press SET (3) to set the value.
• The WET symbol now ashes (15). Now enter the
value with the UP (2) or DOWN (4) key
• Press SET (3) to set the value
• You can now measure larger areas without having
to look at the display. An alarm signal will indicate
when the measurement is above the set values. A
beep every 2 seconds above the RISK limit. Above
the LAW limit every 1 second a beep.
• Press 2 times SET (3) to save the values.
