4. Do not prolong measurement on high current ranges.High current
measurements must be carried on only with the instrument out of
its carrying case (or out of its rubber shock absorber).

5. When using EHT probe
Make sure that the probe is perfectly clean, dust may reduce the
insulating properties of the surface. Check the continuity between
the guard ring and the black banana plugs. Resistance should not
be above 10 W .
Work in a dry place on an insulating mat. Avoid all contacts
between the free hand or any other part of the body - and any
metallic objects which may be grounded.
If possible, do not make measurements directly at the source of
voltage, try to do it after some circuit resistance which will provide
a voltage drop in case of accident.

6. No sinusoïdal wave form measurement
The multimeter is calibrated for sinusoïdal waveform. When
different, the indication given will correspond to the average or
mean value. This value can be different from RMS and in doubt,
check on an oscilloscope.

7. When using a clip-on ammeter with 1/1000 ratio do not change the range
before removing the clip-on from the circuit under test. This will
avoid having transients at the secondary output of the
clip-on.

8. DC measurements with TV filter probe. See also instructions
book of HA0902. This filter integrates high voltage pulses (i. e. on
TB of TV receivers).
WARNINGWARNING
WARNINGWARNING
WARNING : It is dangerous to measure directly the anode of the line sweep
tube where pulses attain high values which can damage the
instruments, it is advisable to measure on the grid of the tube or at
the base of the transformer by the boost condenser.
