Safety instructions
This appliance may only be used by children over 8 years of age and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities, or with a lack of experience and knowledge if they are
supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the appliance and are aware of the
potential risks. Children must not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance must not be carried out by unsupervised
children.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with impaired physical,
sensory, or mental abilities, or persons who lack experience and knowledge, unless they are
supervised or have been instructed in the use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
WARNING: To avoid the danger caused by inadvertent resetting of the thermal fuse, this
appliance must not be powered via an external switching device, such as a time switch, or
connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the mains.
WARNING: Do not use the appliance near bathtubs, showers, sinks or other containers that
contain water.
If you use the hairdryer in the bathroom, unplug it after use, as the proximity of water poses
a danger even when the dryer is switched off.
For additional protection, we recommend installing a residual current device (RCD) with a
rated operating current of no more than 30 mA in the bathroom's electrical circuit. Consult
your electrician.
Warning
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, a service technician
or other qualified person for safety reasons.
Do not block the air inlet and outlet to avoid possible danger.
Be careful not to trap hair in the air inlet during use to avoid potential danger.
Use the hairdryer in accordance with the power rating on the appliance and do not use
universal plugs or other voltage converters to avoid potential hazards.
