3700 brings high performance
color scanning to your Windows 98 PC or Apple iMac.
Its three push-buttons allow you to:
· Copy- use your scanner and printer as a copier.
· Email- send your scanned photos to family
and friends via the Internet.
· Scan- digitize your photos and artwork.
With the ScanMaker 3700, you
can photocopy a recipe for a
neighbor; scan your child’s
kindergarten drawings; or make digital
backups of your financial records.
Quality & Convenience
Even with its wide range of features, the ScanMaker
3700 is a snap to set up with a convenient plug-and-
play USB connection and the easy-to-install
ScanWizard 5 software. This 1200 x 600 dpi, high-
resolution scanner is also unbelievably fast. Scan a
color photo, and in less than a minute, you’re ready to
create a masterpiece!
Bundled Software and LightLid 35
The ScanMaker 3700 offers award-winning
software for image editing and optical character
recognition (OCR).
Using Adobe PhotoDeluxe, you can try
over 50 guided activities—creating personal
greeting cards, calendars, announcements, school and
business reports and more. And with the included
LightLid 35, you can scan 35mm slides to email to
friends and family.
Ulead PhotoImpact adds
even more image editing
power to the mix. You can add a
variety of graphic effects like
kaleidoscope (great for scrapbooking),
watercolor, whirlpool and more to your scanned
images. You can even design background textures and
text effects. For text documents, Optical Character
Recognition (OCR software) converts your scanned
documents into editable text—allowing you to revise
old documents without retyping them.
