E1/EL01 – Comms Error
Condition – Indoor and outdoor unit do not receive feedback from one another
Installation Checks (first time running)
• Check that there is 240v onto both units (indoor and outdoor).
• Check wiring for continuity
• If using the 4 core wiring method make sure the W terminal has been moved to 1(L)
• Check the S connection from the terminal block at the outdoor unit is connected ok onto the outdoor PCB. Make sure to check
all jack plugs
• Check power connections from terminal blocks to both indoor and outdoor PCBs
• Make sure all other connections (controllers etc) are correct
Service Checks (system has been commissioned)
• Has there been any recent work done to the building? Any power cuts etc? Any mains supply works?
• Check both units have 240v and are powered correctly
