1.4.2 Unit capacity setting
On pressing the MANUAL button on a four LED display panel continuously for 10 seconds the unit’s capacity setting
(as set on switch ENC1 on the indoor unit main PCB) is indicated by the statuses of the four LEDs.
Figure 3.5: MANUAL button on a four LED display
panel
The unit’s ENC1 capacity setting is indicated by the combination of the statuses (on or off) of the four LEDs. For
units with two main PCBs, the display only indicates the ENC1 capacity setting of main PCB A.
▪ Which LEDs are on indicates what numbers should be
summed to obtain the main PCB capacity setting.
▪ Calculate the sum of the ‘contributions’ indicated by the
LEDs that are on, using the contribution values shown in
Table 3.6. For this summation, base 16 (hexadecimal)
should be used.
▪ The sum of the contributions indicates the capacity setting
of the main PCB.
Four examples of using LED statuses to determine unit capacity setting are shown in Table 3.7.

Notes:
1. For units with two main PCBs, the display only indicates the ENC1 capacity setting of main PCB A.

summation
Notes:
1. The ‘contribution’ of each LED is the value that should be
added into the capacity setting summation if that LED is on.
