12-Lead Resting ECG

In IQmanager
TM
– Select a patient from Patient List – or
select new Patient and enter demographics and vitals.
(Patient’s date of birth and sex must be correct.)

Prepare the patient for the test. NOTE: Proper patient
preparation is essential for minimized artifact and a
clean ECG and accurate results.
a. Shave hair (if necessary) from electrode sites. (Refer
to opposite side of this card for proper placement)
b. Rub skin with alcohol wipes. Let air dry.

Adhere electrodes on the patient.

Attach the Universal Clips from the patient cable to
the electrodes according to color coding.

Instruct the patient to relax in a supine position.

Select New Test button. The green LED should be on
during testing.

Select ECG button, enter the Technician, Physician,
and Indication. Select OK.
8
Wait for ECG tracings to pass twice (~20 seconds)
and their baselines are stabilized. Select Analyze button.
(ECG will be saved.)

Select Review button or Select Print.
