Problem Possible cause Remedy
There is no steam.
The indicator light in
the steam switch goes
out during ironing.
The water reservoir
is empty.
The required
temperature for
steam has not been
reached.
Fill the water reservoir.
Turn the temperature selector to
ßßß and wait until the indicator
light comes on.
The steam jets are
spitting.
Pure de-ionised
water has been
used.
Empty and rinse out the water
reservoir and then fill it with tap
water, see "Maintenance and
care".
A small amount of
water is coming out of
the steam jets.
There are calcium
deposits from hard
water in the water
reservoir.
Remove these deposits by
rinsing the water reservoir with
tap water, see "Maintenance and
care".
