Tablecloths
Iron the middle first to avoid creases.
• Lay the tablecloth crossways so that the
ends hang over to the right and left.
• Then fold along the width.
• Iron the un-ironed section on both sides
using the left-hand side of the roller.
• Let the ironed middle section hang over the left
end of the roller so that no crease is produced.
• After folding, iron again if necessary.
Sheets and bedspreads
Sheets may be ironed like tablecloths, or if a
lengthwise fold is acceptable, fold the sheet
together lengthwise and iron it on both sides.
Duvet covers
• Button the duvet cover. Start the first run by
carefully feeding in the closed button strip on
the left side of the roller.
To iron without a fold:
• Iron one side of the duvet cover, flip over, and
iron on the other side.
If folds are acceptable:
• Fold the duvet cover lengthwise and iron from
left and right.
Pillow cases
• First iron the fastened button strip
(as with duvet covers)
• Then iron the whole pillow case on both sides
Trousers
• Crease the trousers and lay on the roller. The
area from the waistband to the crotch
should hang down over the left-hand edge
of the roller.
• Cover the crease with a damp cloth then turn
the roller by hand until the part of the trousers
to be ironed is covered by the heater plate, and iron.
• Iron each crease from both sides in this manner.
